Jade Cargill might be on her way back to WWE.
Last year, on the November 22nd episode of SmackDown, Jade Cargill was taken out of action. Following a parking lot attack on Cargill, the former women’s tag-team champion had to be sidelined.
Soon enough, the Stamford-based promotion provided a kayfabe update on Jade Cargill and reported her suffering from multiple injuries due to the attack. However, in several updates after that, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer stated that Cargill was legitimately injured, while Mike Johnson of PWInsider claimed that the attack was strictly planned.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select also noted that Cargill was written off TV due to a legitimate injury. Another report from PWInsider claimed that Cargill was using her time away to engage in other projects and was enjoying her vacations in the Bahamas.
While fans kept speculating about her return timeline amid all the conflicting reports, the latest report from PWInsider updated that Jade Cargill was seen on Monday working out at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She is expected to remain at the center for a few more days, possibly training for her return.
One-half of the women’s tag-team champions with Bianca Belair, Naomi took the position after an injured Cargill had to be replaced.
WWE Executive Shares Delightful News For International Fans
In just a few minutes, on 6th January, WWE is set to begin its new journey. With its much-awaited Netflix premiere, the Stamford-based promotion will enter a brand new era. The promotion is set to enter a platform with over 282 million worldwide subscribers. However, this raised concerns among Netflix users about the commercial break system on the platform.
Addressing the concerns, World Wrestling Entertainment VP and line producer, Brian Fadem opened up about it in an interview with Sports Business Journal.
“While you might go to commercials if you’re in Texas, if you’re in Italy you’re going to see us continue content. You’re going to see the continuation of a match. You’re going to see exclusive interviews with our talent. You might see an exclusive package that will only be viewed on that international level.”
