Huge Upcoming AJ Styles Appearance Teased By TNA President

AJ Styles’ upcoming TNA appearance seems to be getting closer.

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles is often regarded as one of the greatest pro-wrestlers of all time. A talented high-flyer, striker, and technician, Styles has successfully wrestled all over the world and won multiple titles across different promotions.

As fans might vividly remember, The Phenomenal One’s mainstream pro-wrestling career started at TNA Wrestling nearly two decades ago. However, he left it in 2014 to pursue a career in NJPW and WWE. A part of the Stamford-based promotion since 2016, Styles has become an integral part of the WWE roster.

However, recently, several reports emerged about AJ Styles possibly making a surprise appearance at the upcoming TNA Slammiversary event. Recently, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s president, Carlos Silva, claimed on social media that the event was going to be “phenomenal” and added fire to the fuel.

Later, in an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Silva dropped more teases on Styles’ appearance.

“It’s gonna be a phenomenal night. That is exactly what I would tell you. I love the word phenomenal and I’ve done a bunch of phenomenal things over the years and Slammiversary’s definitely gonna be phenomenal.

“Look, we’re all in the sports and entertainment space and we want to continue to build the excitement. I think Slammiversary is definitely going to be our biggest show ever. Some little pieces of that are all coming together to help make it the biggest night for sure.”

Currently signed to WWE, Styles has not appeared on TNA television since 2014, despite their recent partnership with WWE.

AJ Styles Explains Decision To Reject TNA Hall Of Fame

Earlier this year, during his appearance at a Fanatics Live Signing, AJ Styles explained his decision not to enter the TNA Hall of Fame induction, which he received last year in October 2024.

There was a time they wanted me to come in and be in the TNA Hall of Fame. I just thought it was a little disrespectful at the time, to WWE, to go into the TNA Hall of Fame. I want to go into the Hall of Fame when I’m done wrestling. I think that’s more appropriate. There are a lot of places I’ve wrestled and I’m very thankful that I can be in any Hall of Fame. I’m gonna wait until I’m done.”
