A former WWE star who was among the latest round of releases has admitted that there has been a lot of interest in booking them at upcoming events.
Beginning on May 2nd, news broke that WWE had released multiple names from both the main roster and NXT. While many of the names were released and given the standard 30 or 90-day no-competes depending on their status as NXT or main roster talent, respectively, one name had left the company on different circumstances.
Shotzi was informed that the company would not be renewing her contract when it expires, meaning that she will immediately become a free agent when the deal is up and can appear for another promotion.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Shotzi first stated that shortly after the news broke she has been inundated with booking requests:
“It’s been so overwhelming. I have just been glued to my phone the last few days, like, just answering emails and just trying to get bookings straight.”
The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion also added that despite the surge in demand, she is excited for what comes next:
“But, yeah, just completely overwhelming, but also eye-opening and really exciting,”
