Another big Hulk Hogan claim has been found to be a lie.
Over the years, Hulk Hogan has claimed multiple times that he was the first choice to be the face of what became the George Foreman Grill. The Hulkster’s story is that he missed a call from the agent he shared with Foreman, and the late boxer beat him to the punch.
“I come home and hit the old-school voicemail recorder, and he says, ‘Hey Hulk, this is Sam Perlmutter. I have a grill and I have a blender, and I call you and George Foreman to see who wants it.’ I wasn’t there to answer the call, so when I called Sam back, he said George had taken the grill. $550 million later, George got the ‘Lean, Mean Grilling Machine,’”
However, Pablo Torre of Pablo Torre Finds Out unearthed the truth, that Foreman was the only celebrity approached to endorse the appliance.
“We went to the grill’s inventor Michael Boehm and his family issued a statement to us. They dispute the Hulkster’s cataloging of events. ‘George Foreman was the only celebrity our dad approached about endorsing the grill. We don’t know who started the story about Hulk Hogan being approached but it isn’t accurate.’
“The agent Hulk Hogan cited was a guy named Sam. He repped Hulk Hogan and George Foreman. Unfortunately, Sam passed away last fall, but they shared a lawyer. The lawyer is a guy named Henry Holmes and he told us, ‘The Hulk Hogan story is not my recollection. In fact, it was two other celebrities sharing representation that their agent was asking about,'”

Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda has called out the Hall of Famer in a tirade on social media. As well as calling Hogan a “complete liar” and “sex addict,” Linda claimed her family is in “the worst mess” over 15 years after the pair divorced and admitted their daughter Brooke has completely cut both of her parents out of her life.
