It has been announced that Bryan Danielson will be in action on the first-ever AEW Rampage Buy In when he takes on Minoru Suzuki.
On October 15th, one of WWE’s main roster shows will be going up against an AEW broadcast for the very first time. The upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown is set to last two and a half hours instead of the usual two, meaning that the last half an hour will be in direct competition with AEW Rampage.
In the lead up to the show, AEW President Tony Khan has repeatedly talked up the competition between the two companies, saying he “can’t wait to beat” WWE’s main show. In addition to his fighting talk, Khan also announced that Rampage would have a Buy In for the very first time.
It has now been announced that the Buy In will feature the highly anticipated clash between Bryan Danielson and Minoru Suzuki. The bout is considered by many to be a dream match with two of the best in-ring performers from their respective continents meeting in the squared circle. It has also been confirmed that Bobby Fish will be back in action against Lee Moriarty.
The AEW Rampage Buy In will be shown on YouTube, starting at 9 p.m. ET. The special live edition of Rampage will follow at 10pm ET. on TNT.
