Former FTW Champion Hook is set to reclaim his title and seek revenge against Chris Jericho at AEW All In later this month.

The highly anticipated match will take place at Wembley Stadium on August 25th in London, where Hook will face the current champion Jericho, who has held the title since defeating Hook at April’s Dynasty event.

During an emotional in-ring promo on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Hook revealed the physical toll of Jericho’s previous attack, stating he could no longer see out of his left eye due to a fireball incident. Despite this setback, Hook expressed his determination to fight Jericho for the FTW Championship which he feels rightfully belongs to him.

Jericho, accompanied by his allies Big Bill and Bryan Keith, initially pretended to accept Hook’s challenge. However, he ultimately declined to fight that night, instead proposing a title match at All In with two significant stipulations.

Hook agreed to these terms, which state that if Jericho wins, Hook will be barred from ever challenging for the FTW title again while Jericho remains champion, effectively ending his rivalry with Jericho and The Learning Tree. Additionally, Hook must first face Big Bill on the upcoming Dynamite episode in Cardiff, Wales.

Since winning the FTW Championship, Jericho has successfully defended the title three times, including a notable defence against both Hook and Katsuyori Shibata at May’s Double or Nothing.
