Huge AEW Double Turn At All In Leads To Cope’s Return

AEW All In Cope Christian Cage

Cope has finally returned to AEW.

In the final match of the night before All In’s triple main-event, fans witnessed the Hurt Syndicate retain their World Tag Team Title against JetSpeed and The Patriarchy. In the bout’s aftermath, fans saw FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway confront Christian Cage & Nick Wayne following their failure to win the gold.

While Cage tried to save Wayne and Kip Sabian from FTR, the tables turned on him as Wayne dropped his ‘father’ Cage with The Killswitch. In a surprising turn of events, fans around the world saw Nick Wayne, Sabian, and Mother Wayne all turn their backs on Cage, and almost drop him with a con-chair-to.

However, before the trio and FTR could hit the career-ending move on Cage, “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge hit as Cope returned to a roaring crowd. Carrying a spike, the WWE Hall of Famer, made his way to the ring and took out FTR with a double Spear before running off Nick and blasting Sabian with another Spear.

He would then pick up a battered Cage and said “Go find yourself,” as a callback to their iconic 2023 “Go f**k yourself” moment. Making his All Elite Wrestling return almost three months after his last match in April, fans were treated to an extremely close reunion of the two former best friends.

While a reunion has all but been confirmed, all stars currently point toward that direction, as fans expect the duo to reunite before the All Out 2025 PPV in Toronto, Canada.

Cope Had Recently Penned A Heartfelt Message Amid His AEW Absence

Earlier this month, Cope had written a wholesome post on Instagram, reflecting on his long pro-wrestling career:

On Canada Day 33 yrs ago I made my wrestling debut. In Oakland Raiders Zubaz and a pair of Converse. Nowhere to go but up. Since then, I’ve travelled the world. Literally. Everywhere you can think of. From Moose Landing to Monterrey, from Bloodvein to Bucharest. It’s been a long, fruitful, soul expanding, soul diminishing, amazing, frustrating, exhausting, exhilarating journey over 3 decades. The best part?

I hear every one of you when I blast out of that entranceway and sing Metalingus at the top of your lungs. It’s never been lost on me what a privilege that is. Australia I’m lookin at you! It won’t last a lot longer so I’m gonna soak in every second. Thank you for coming along on this ride with me.”
