Every time Brock Lesnar has made an appearance, the entire landscape of WWE has shifted, and with his recent comeback, fans are already thinking of what’s to come for Lesnar after he is done with John Cena.
Before we begin, we would like to state that this is just fantasy booking and an opinion piece.
It’s important to highlight that this angle will significantly impact LA Knight and CM Punk, as their storylines are influenced by these events, and they unfortunately get lost in the shuffle with The Beast back.
The storyline begins at Crown Jewel, where John Cena and Brock Lesnar face off as just like he did on his return, Lesnar destroys Cena. Following this, Brock goes on a rampage on SmackDown, leading everyone to believe he’s targeting Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, on RAW, CM Punk and Roman Reigns have gotten into a proper singles feud.
However, this is a ruse that is revealed at Survivor Series. At the PLE, Seth Rollins uses underhanded tactics to defeat LA Knight. Just as Seth thinks he’s overcome his biggest challenge, an ominous guitar riff plays, leaving Rollins looking terrified. He sends Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to confront Lesnar, but Brock easily fends them off, allowing Rollins to escape.
The Vision Killer Is Here
Next week on WWE RAW, Rollins reminds everyone that he is the Beast Slayer, which then leads to Brock coming out and telling Seth that it was not personal, The Visionary has a title he has not yet won, and he has not forgiven Paul Heyman.
Seth sends his cronies, but this leads to another beatdown on The Vision. The beatings are so bad that Bronson Reed is put on the shelf.
Rollins starts having a crash-out and instructs Breakker to deal with Lesnar, disguising this as the opportunity for the former NXT Champion to prove to everyone he is the future, similar to what Seth did years ago.
Whenever Brock Lesnar confronts the Monday Night Messiah, Bron Breakker intervenes, igniting a feud between them. Breakker struggles against The Beast Incarnate, while Seth Rollins, anxious about his title, starts berating Breakker.
Breakker suffers the humiliation, but fans can see the cracks beginning to form. Left with no options, Seth Rollins has to face Lesnar, and the stage is set at the Royal Rumble with Breakker banned from ringside.
The Architect and Brock Lesnar engage in a brutal match. Lesnar gets revenge by delivering an F5 to Paul Heyman through the announcer’s table. When the referee is taken down, Bron Breakker makes a surprise entrance. Seth Rollins is thrilled to see this. Bron strikes Brock with a steel chair, momentarily incapacitating him, while Seth watches and laughs. Afterward, Bron quickly turns and delivers a powerful spear to Seth.
The crowd goes wild as Breakker calls out for a referee and leaves the ring. This sets up a feud between the two stablemates. In the meantime, The Beast Incarnate comes to his senses and is angry, and just destroys Seth Rollins and pins him for the win.
A side note to all this carnage is that earlier in the day, Gunther had made a comeback and won the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
A Bout Worthy Of WrestleMania
Next week on RAW, Brock Lesnar celebrates his title win and proclaims himself the “Vision Killer,” stating he has no desire to defend the title, especially against those upset by his return. He plans to retire peacefully on his farm, having destroyed WWE’s vision for the title.
Just as he is about to leave the ring, Gunther appears, and they share a tense stare. Gunther points to the WrestleMania sign, signaling his intentions. Lesnar warns Gunther that, like Seth, he will ruin his championship dreams. Unfazed, Gunther replies that he aims to give Lesnar the retirement he seeks.
At WrestleMania, they engage in an intense battle, but Gunther’s determination ultimately leads him to victory. Following the match, it is announced that Brock Lesnar has officially retired.
Future Storylines
CM Punk, after ending his feud with Roman Reigns, turns his attention to Gunther, confident he can win. However, when he loses the match, his frustration grows over failing to achieve his title goal. This ultimately leads him to turn heel, forming a faction, and targeting a longtime friend, a story for another time.
