As of this writing, three matches are set for the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On the July 4 episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre returned to the Blue brand, where he interrupted Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton’s segment. During this confrontation, The Scottish Warrior mocked The Viper for hesitating to punt The American Nightmare at Night of Champions.

The Apex Predator didn’t take his comments lightly and delivered an RKO, setting up a singles match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Seth Rollins‘ faction has targeted several stars recently, among them being LA Knight. The rivalry between both men began at Money in the Bank after The Visionary used Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to win the MITB contract instead of The Megastar.

Both men have been attacking since then. Recently, Knight even attacked Rollins after his match with Penta on RAW. This weekend, LA will attempt to seek revenge in a singles match against Seth.

Finally, the aforementioned Gunther vs. Goldberg dream match that began at last year’s Bad Blood, where the former insulted the latter, who was in the audience at the time. After The Ring General won back the World Heavyweight title from Jey Uso, the Hall of Famer stepped up as his challenger.
