Edge returned at SummerSlam and set his sights on The Judgment Day, but how often will we see him as he attempts to exact revenge on his former faction?
At SummerSlam, while The Mysterios and The Judgment Day clashed in the ring, Edge made his triumphant return to get a measure of revenge on the group that betrayed him.
Rising from the flames, the tag team legend marched to the ring with a purpose and delivered two huge Spears to Damian Priest and Finn Balor before setting Balor up for a 619, which The Mysterios happily delivered to score the win.
The following night on Raw, the WWE Hall of Famer vowed to kill his own creation and end Judgment Day.
Later in the show, Edge attempted to assist The Mysterios when Judgment Day attacked them following an unsuccessful attempt to capture the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships from The Usos.
However, Rhea Ripley shoved Dominik Mysterio in front of Finn Balor as Edge attempted to Spear him, causing the Rated-R Superstar to accidentally take down Dominik instead before chasing after Balor.
With the rivalry between the multi-time World Champion and The Judgment Day escalating, PWInsider has reported that we can expect to see Edge make regular appearances over the next few weeks as he is currently advertised for every episode of Raw in the lead-up to the Clash at the Castle premium live event.
The star has been part of advertisements for the UK event for several weeks and it seems likely he will take on The Judgment Day in some form at the show.
