One Raw star didn’t fare too well after participating in a 4th of July hot dog eating contest on Raw!
The July 4th episode of Monday Night Raw wasn’t short on Independence Day festivities, including footage of a cookout held earlier in the day. WWE Superstars such as Riddle, the Street Profits, and Alpha Academy were in attendance, and early on in the show, Otis declared that he could eat more hot dogs than anyone else, including Angelo Dawkins.
The two took part in a hot dog eating contest later in the afternoon, but the contest was shockingly won by Akira Tozawa, who hadn’t been announced as part of it before being revealed as the winner. Though he didn’t win, Otis ate a huge number of hot dogs, and said that he wasn’t feeling too well.

Still, the former Heavy Machinery member took part in a six man tag team match later in the night, teaming with Chad Gable and Theory to take on new United States Champion Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. He showed some signs of discomfort throughout the match, but persevered.
After Lashley secured the victory for his team by pinning Chad Gable, Otis began to show more signs of distress, and ended up vomiting in the face of his tag team partner, leading to commentary complaining about the smell.

Elsewhere on the show, Theory revealed that he’s been granted a rematch against Bobby Lashley and will look to regain his United States Championship at SummerSlam. Not only that, he has his eyes set on cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at that same event. The episode also saw Rey Mysterio pay special tribute to Eddie Guerrero during his match against The Judgment Day.
