Kevin Hart has hilariously laid down a challenge to Brock Lesnar, doing so with the backing of WWE legend The Rock.
The 43-year-old actor/comedian recently partook in a series of interviews to promote DC League of Super-Pets, an upcoming animated comedy also starring the real-life Dwayne Johnson, taking the time to metaphorically slam ‘The Beast Incarnate’.
Hyped up by The Rock during a chat with LADbible, Kevin Hart made a challenge to Lesnar ahead of Brock’s SummerSlam clash with Roman Reigns. Hart claimed that Brock Lesnar was a “vegetable” and a “piece of broccoli”:
“Hey Brock, a.k.a my b*tch. It’s time for you to get a little thing called The Poke. Come on, man! Come on, man! Let me tell you something. I’m gonna tell you what I want, Brock. He’s got nothing on me. He’s a vegetable, a piece of broccoli. I’ll snap him in half and throw the piece I don’t want away.”

Although he initially began as a stand-up comedian, Kevin Hart rose to prominence in the world of Hollywood for his stint on the 2001-2002 sitcom Undeclared. He’s since gone on to star in a number of projects, most recently playing Teddy in The Man From Toronto. Hart has also developed a penchant for writing and producing during his acting career.
While Hart and The Rock will celebrate the release of their latest collaboration this Friday, Brock Lesnar may have something to celebrate too, provided he defeats Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Lesnar is slated to challenge ‘The Tribal Chief’ for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Last Man Standing match.
Brock Lesnar has also enjoyed a handful of small film credits appearing in 2014’s True Giants and Foxcatcher, and 2016’s Countdown.
DC League of Super-Pets releases worldwide on Friday, 29 July in all good cinemas.
