Ahead of the October 28th episode of WWE SmackDown, the company is advertising that a mystery partner will join up with Hit Row’s Top Dolla and Asahnte ‘Thee’ Adonis to take on the members of Legado del Fantasma in trios action.
Dissention between the two teams began on the October 7th season premiere of WWE SmackDown when Legado del Fantasma made their debut on the blue brand and attacked the three members of Hit Row. No longer accompanied by Elektra Lopez as they were in WWE NXT, the group now has Zelina Vega among its ranks, while Lopez returned to action on the most recent episode of NXT.
Speculation Has Run Wild About Who Will Join Hit Row Tonight
The advertisement of a mystery opponent has fans buzzing about who will join Hit Row in trios action. Many fans on social media seem to be hoping that Carmelo Hayes, who recently failed to regain his NXT North American Championship in a ladder match at Halloween Havoc, would finally be making his main roster debut. Others believe Lio Rush could make a surprise return to the company.
Popular social media account Vacant got in on the hype, asking WWE fans if they enjoyed the new blue look on the SmackDown graphic.

However, according to a new report from PWInsider, the plans for the mystery opponent call for Shinsuke Nakamura to serve as the third man in their trio. Nakamura hasn’t been seen in action on WWE SmackDown since defeating Baron Corbin on the August 26th episode.
However, the former Intercontinental Champion recently made a surprise appearance on WWE NXT, where he took on Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo at the behest of Tony D’Angelo. To teach Stacks a lesson after suffering consistent losses on NXT, Tony D’Angelo looked to teach his protégé a lesson by calling in a main roster WWE Superstar. Though Stacks was handed another defeat at the hands of Nakamura, he showed tremendous fire in the bout, and seemed to impress his boss with his gumption as he faced Nakamura.
