Hikaru Shida took to social media to show off her new look after returning to Japan!

After losing to Serena Deeb on the April 27th episode of AEW Dynamite, former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida returned to Japan to work shows Tokyo Joshi Pro and Ice Ribbon among other promotions. On May 3rd, the star teamed with Moka Miyamoto and defeated the pair of Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita at Tokyo Joshi Pro Yes! Wonderland, and on May 4th she and Arisa Nakajima defeated the team of Ibuki Hoshi and Tsukasa Fujimoto at Ice Ribbon Yokohama Budokan II.

Upon her return to Japan, Hikaru Shida took to social media and posted a number of photos of herself sporting a new, shorter hairstyle with bangs in the front as opposed to the longer hair she’s been seen with in recent months on AEW programming.

More of Hikaru Shida’s schedule for her time in Japan can be seen in the tweet below.

The former AEW Women’s Champion most recently competed in AEW when she faced off against Serena Deeb in a Philly Street Fight that saw Deeb victorious after viciously attacking Shida’s leg and forcing her to submit, making Serena Deeb the new number one contender for the championship now held by Thunder Rosa. Deeb and Thunder Rosa will face off for the title at Double or Nothing on May 29th.

However, Hikaru Shida’s knee wasn’t the only victim in the match, as Serena Deeb suffered a stiff shot to the face during the bout that left her with a nasty welt.
