One of NXT’s top stars made their debut on the WWE main roster recently.
During the March 20th episode of Monday Night Raw, several NXT stars were in attendance for Main Event tapings.
One member of the roster participating on the show was the son of William Regal, Charlie Dempsey. He took on Shelton Benjamin in his second main roster appearance. His first foray on Main Event came in January when he fought Dexter Lumis.
The other star making his main roster debut was Nathan Frazer. The highly-touted high-flyer was on hand to take on Bronson Reed in her first-ever main event showing.
Frazer joined the brand last year after making his WWE debut in the UK at the BT Sport Studios. The Seth Rollins-trained superstar burst onto our screens during a brief run with AEW in 2020. While in Jacksonville, Florida, Frazer, then going by Ben Carter had an excellent match against former TNT Champion Scorpio Sky on a special edition of Late Night Dynamite.
He then made his WWE debut in 2021 challenging JD McDonagh for UK Cruiserweight Championship. Following the news that the promotion was closing its doors, Frazer was of many UK stars to head over to the States and the Florida-based branch of the company.
Upon joining the brand, Frazer integrated himself into the North American Champion scene.
WWE NXT Stand & Deliver Takes Place Over WrestleMania Weekend
During WrestleMania 39 weekend, the brand runs its second PLE of the year from the Crypto.com Arena, in Los Angeles, California on April 1st.
