“HHH Really Doesn’t Like This Dude” – Fans Up in Arms As WWE ‘Insults’ Goldberg During Farewell

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg on RAW

Fans around the world were livid after WWE “insulted” Goldberg during his farewell.

Tonight marked the last night fans will get to see Bill Goldberg in action. While he may make a few appearances further down the line, this match at Saturday Night’s Main Event was the official retirement match for the Hall of Famer.

The match itself was entertaining, but unfortunately, the 58-year-old could not defeat his opponent, Gunther. Following the match, fans have expressed their anger online. However, the outcome of the match wasn’t the reason behind their displeasure.

Once all was said and done, Goldberg was asked to give a farewell speech, but rather than air the full thing, NBC and Peacock decided to cut to commercial break halfway through. This led to fans taking up arms on X, as they criticized not just the network, but WWE as well for this “insult” and “disrespect.”

HHH really doesn’t like this dude wowwwwwwwww,”

“I not going to lie I don’t even mess with Goldberg like that but that’s deada** wrong for cutting off his speech”

“uhhhh seriously, what the actual f*ck was that,”

Check out some of the other things fans had to say about the incident below:

Fans react to Goldberg's farewell speech being cut off

The full speech will likely be put on YouTube soon, but the anger shown by the fans is understandable, especially considering how important the occasion was.

Goldberg apologized to fans during his farewell speech

Although much of the speech was cut off, fans would’ve heard what Goldberg had to say at the very start. The Myth kicked off his farewell speech with an apology.

The Hall of Famer pointed out that he had never lost in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, but tonight marked a first. As such, he wanted to apologize to the fans for the loss.

Unfortunately, that was all the fans watching from home got to hear, as the feed was cut off shortly after.
