“He’s My End Boss” – Top WWE Star Discusses Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE on the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw and set about causing as much chaos as possible.

The star attacked Bobby Lashley to cost him the United States Championship and followed that up with another beat down on SmackDown. The Beast made his in-ring comeback at the Royal Rumble laying waste to everyone around him before being quickly eliminated by Lashley.

In his short spell in the ring, Lesnar also shared a staredown with Gunther which sent the crowd into raptures.

Gunther To Face Brock Lesnar?

It had originally been believed that the two men would be competing at WrestleMania 39. However, it has since been reported that this speculation was “false.” But it appears that Gunther is still pushing for his match with the former UFC star.

Appearing on the Rob Brown Show, the Intercontinental Champion was asked about his stand-off with Lesnar at the Rumble.

“Of course, I wanted to. Brock is a one in a million guy, one in ten million. I always liked those guys that have stood out from the pack.”

Gunther went on to reiterate that he’s a big fan of Lesnar, describing him as his “final boss.”

“I always loved his matches and was very impressed with that and also with the recent years in WWE. I always thought it would a thing for wrestling and my style, that’s my end boss. I’ve been portrayed as the end boss in wrestling for a lot of guys, but I think Brock could be my end boss. I really hope the match goes down at some point.”

With a match against Lesnar off the table, it has been reported that Gunther will now defend his Intercontinental Title against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus at the spectacular.
