“He’s Come Full Circle”: WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Cody Rhodes’ Remarkable Journey

A major name in WWE has nothing but praise for Cody Rhodes.

Many fans are now aware of the story of The American Nightmare. Leaving the company in 2016 due to creative frustrations, The American Nightmare went from undesirable to undeniable as he made himself a massive star before making his return at WrestleMania 38.

Overcoming all the odds, Cody Rhodes did what so many couldn’t do before him and defeated Roman Reigns to finally finish the story. Understandably, Rhodes very likely celebrated the victory.

Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker revealed that he received a voicemail from the new champion very late at night and some of it was hard to make out before crediting Rhodes for figuring things out when he first left:

“He sent me a voicemail the night he won the title. It was 3:49 AM, I think. I made out about half of it. I believe he was having a good time that night. Well deserved. He has come full circle. I didn’t see him developing into being the sports entertainer that he is. Another example of motivation and not being content with where you’re at and learning.

A lot of guys come into WWE before they are ready and end up leaving, and leaving unhappy. I don’t know for certain, but I’m pretty sure he left the same way. Man, did he figure things out on both sides. From the marketing aspect, business aspect, to connecting with is audience. He’s not the same person as when he left. Not even close,”

Famously, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso had a few “libations” after they won the Tag Team Championships at Fastlane.

Cody Rhodes Set For Hollywood Role

In what has already been a historic year for the Undisputed Champion, Rhodes is adding another accolade to his resume in the near future. Set for release in 2025, Cody Rhodes will join Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson in an iconic Hollywood reboot.
