“He’s A Bag Of Sh*t” – AEW Star Blasts Roderick Strong

Roderick Strong AEW

On the April 26th episode of Dynamite, Roderick Strong shockingly made his debut for the company as he aided Adam Cole in fighting off the members of the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Cole appeared in the middle of the ring to take the Jericho Appreciation Society and The Outcasts to task for their attack on his wife Britt Baker the previous week. Instead of meeting him face to face as Cole wanted, Chris Jericho appeared on the tron, saying he wanted nothing to do with Cole. However, the ruse was soon made apparent when Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker ran to the ring to attack Cole. Orange Cassidy and Bandido tried to help, but they were thwarted in their efforts.

However, the tide turned when Strong’s logo appeared on the tron and the man himself ran down to take out the JAS members. He and Adam Cole faced off for a moment before hugging, making it clear that despite any past history, the longtime friends were once again on the same side.

Strong’s appearance came as a shock not only because it was unannounced, but also because many in WWE believed he was still under contract there after his request for release was denied last year. Strong hasn’t been seen on NXT TV since suffering an injury and being written off with an attack from Damon Kemp.

Matt Menard And Angelo Parker Don’t Care For Roderick Strong

Strong is married to fellow AEW star Marina Shafir, and on April 27th, Shafir took to social media to post a photo of her husband sleepwalking in their home. Jericho Appreciation Society’s Matt Menard had a biting response, saying she should probably end their relationship as Strong is a “bag of sh*t.”

“You should probably dump him. He’s a bag of sh*t”

Menard’s tag team partner Angelo Parker didn’t mince words when it comes to Strong either, tweeting after his debut:

“I’ve never liked that jacka** or his sh*tty little boots. #AEW #AEWDynamite @AEWonTV”

After his surprising debut, Tony Khan took to social media to announce that Strong was officially All Elite. Elsewhere on the episode, Khan made an appearance to announce the return of the Owen Hart Cup.
