Asuka Could Face Bianca Belair Once Again At WWE Night Of Champions

Continuing, the report notes that a few weeks ago, a rematch between Asuka and Bianca Belair was being discussed for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on May 27th. Belair was also drafted to the blue brand as part of the WWE Draft, and it’s expected that she’ll soon be swapping titles with current SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

The two last faced off at WrestleMania 39, with Asuka coming up short in her quest to once again become Raw Women’s Champion.

Belair went on to defend her title against IYO SKY in a heavily-praised match at Backlash in front of a frenetic Puerto Rican crowd. Despite the fans ferociously cheering SKY and booing Belair, the EST was once again able to retain, tying Becky Lynch’s record for the longest Raw Women’s Championship reign of all time. She’s since surpassed Lynch’s record, once again solidifying her name in the history books.
