Heath Provides IMPACT Bound for Glory Injury Update

Heath Thumb

IMPACT Wrestling star, Heath, has taken to social media to provide an update on the injury he sustained at the promotion’s Bound For Glory event last week.

In a post on Instagram, the former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion provided a picture of himself from the night in question stating that his partially torn abductor muscle and tear in his groin would not need surgery as first speculated.

According to the star, he will require a lot of rest, ample amounts of ice and a degree of physical therapy in order to get him back inside the squared circle as quickly as possible.

Heath suffered the injury in question during the Call Your Shot Battle Royal which he was scheduled to win before tearing his abductor muscle from the bone. Initially, it was believed that the star had suffered a severe inguinal hernia for which he had sought the counsel of a hernia specialist.

In his place, Heath was forced to watch friend and partner Rhino prevail which will provide an interesting storyline upon his return.

Heath made his IMPACT Wrestling debut at the promotion’s Slammiversary event in July where he declared himself a free agent. A storyline followed in which the star attempted to gain a spot on the roster with Rhino’s aid. The attempt was successful at IMPACT Wrestling Victory Road.

Inside The Ropes wishes Heath a speedy recovery.
