AEW star Chris Jericho had an interesting post about Ozzy Osbourne

In the wake of Ozzy Osbourne’s sudden passing, AEW wrestler Chris Jericho recently remembered his tense involvement with the rock icon.

The Prince of Darkness passed away on July 22nd, sending shockwaves not only to the music world, but in the wrestling industry as well. Tributes from AEW and WWE wrestlers poured in to commemorate the life of the WWE Hall of Famer.

One of the stars who worked with Osbourne in WWE was Y2J Chris Jericho, who gave a tribute to the legend on Instagram in a classy post. He thanked the late legend for all the joy he brought. He the proceeded to post a clip from an episode of RAW on November 2, 2009, where Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were guest hosts.

The Learning Tree made it clear that he was still angry about The Prince of Darkness putting him, Big Show (aka Paul Wight), and John Cena in a Triple threat match, in the episode’s main event.

“Everybody is saying such great stuff about @ozzyosbourne today and he was the f**kin best….but he really pi**ed me off the night he put @paulwight & I against each other in a Triple Threat match with @johncena, when he and @sharonosbourne hosted Monday Night Raw in 2009! Dam*it Ozz!!! @wwe,” Jericho posted.

AEW star Chris Jericho had a heated confrontation with Ozzy Osbourne in WWE

During Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s guest appearance as WWE RAW guest hosts on November 2, 2009, Chris Jericho addressed them in a backstage segment. The former AEW World Champion felt disrespected by the Osbournes’ “mockery of RAW.”

The Learning Tree also reminded Ozzy of how he wanted to be like him, from the looks all the way to the music style. He eventually stated that he didn’t need the fans and boldly claimed that he was better than The Prince of Darkness himself.

The segment ended with Jericho reminding the Osbournes that disrespecting him was the “ultimate sin,” which Sharon shrugged off, and Ozzy pretended not to know the current AEW star.
