It has become something of an MJF trademark to blend fiction and reality in his AEW storylines.
In the past, he’s opened up about meeting CM Punk as a child and being rejected by WWE and William Regal as he tried to climb the wrestling ladder.
On the February 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite, the star again opened himself up to the world in a promo looking ahead to his AEW World Championship match against Bryan Danielson at Revolution. In the segment, MJF revealed that his “dream girl” had left him because he was “unlovable” leaving him with just the AEW World Championship. He closed by claiming the title is the only thing stopping him from grabbing a fist full of pills and “calling it a day.”
“I’m the guy who got left stranded by anyone I’ve ever opened up to. I’m the guy who got thrown away like trash by anyone who’s ever claimed they loved me. And then I met a girl, a girl who changed my outlook on every single person on this planet. My dream girl. A girl I fell in love with.
“She convinced me that not everyone in this world is bad. So that I became the man who got down on one knee and I told that girl I wanted to start a family with her. I wanted to make a home with her. I wanted to have children with her. And, do you know what she did Bryan Danielson? She left me. She left me, Bryan.
“She left me because I’m unloveable and the only thing I have in this life that I can trust, the only thing I have in this world that makes me feel unconditional love is this Triple B. The AEW World Championship is the only thing stopping me grabbing a fist full of pills and calling it a day.”
Posting on social media, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that MJF indeed has broken up with his fiancée Naomi Rosenblum. The couple began dating in 2020 before getting engaged in September 2022.

MJF And Bryan Danielson To Meet At Revolution
Despite the incredible number of obstacles thrown in his path, Bryan Danielson will meet MJF for the AEW World Championship at Revolution in an Ironman Match. The bout is currently one of four huge title matches listed for the event.
