WWE have officially announced that country music singer, HARDY, will be the musical act for the eighteenth annual Tribute to the Troops event.
HARDY will be present inside the WWE ThunderDome for the taping of the television special on December 2, with his act being recorded alongside matches from both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
The performer is the creator of albums such as ‘Hixtape, Vol.1’ and ‘A Rock’ and has toured with Morgan Wallen. He began life as an artist by writing songs for Florida Georgia Line.
It was announced in November that WWE would delve into the popular tribute show once more after a one year hiatus, with the taping making air on FOX on Sunday December 6. It will also be the first WWE main roster show since the COVID-19 pandemic hit to have a live crowd.
WWE’s 2020 Tribute To The Troops will be attended by servicemen and women and their families from Marine Corps Air Station New River, US Army Post Fort Hood, U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), Naval Air Station Fallon and Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.
As of writing, WWE are yet to announce an official line-up for the show.
