Happy Corbin And Madcap Moss Split On SmackDown

Madcap Moss Happy Corbin

What was supposed to be the happiest edition of Happy Talk in history, quickly became a nightmare as the partnership between Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss came to an explosive end!

The April 8th episode of Happy Talk on SmackDown was supposed to be the happiest edition of Happy Talk ever, but all was not well between Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.

Corbin arrived in a bad mood after being defeated by Drew McIntyre, by contrast Moss was bouncing off the walls after his win in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal a week ago. However, Corbin quickly turned his attention to his partner.

Corbin blamed his WrestleMania loss to McIntyre on Moss before demanding that he tell him some jokes. Moss told two bad jokes and Corbin didn’t laugh, and then Corbin demanded that Moss tell one more as his job depended on it.

Instead, Moss went on the attack, telling a joke that made fun of Corbin to the delight of the live crowd. This led to a brawl between the two men, where Moss eventually came out on top, throwing Corbin out of the ring.

Madcap Moss made his main roster debut in September 2021, attacking Kevin Owens and aligning with Happy Corbin. Over the following months the pair feuded with Drew McIntyre, before cracks slowly began to appear in their relationship in the run up to WrestleMania.

The April 8th episode of Friday Night SmackDown also saw three NXT stars make their main roster debuts. The first of these debuts was that of Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser, who was previously known as Marcel Barthel.

Kaiser introduced Gunther to the world before the giant Austrian demolished an opponent by the name of Joe Alonzo with ease.

The show also saw the SmackDown debut of Raquel Gonzalez, who is now known as Raquel Rodriguez. The former NXT Women’s Champion gave an interview backstage declaring that the SmackDown locker room wasn’t ready for her.
