Hangman Adam Page Challenges Brian Cage To Go Double Or Nothing

Hangman Adam Page Brian Cage Graphic

Hangman Adam Page and FTW Champion Brian Cage will meet once again in one-on-one action at AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing.

Cage and Hangman recently faced off with one another on the 28th of April edition of AEW Dynamite. However, before that match Page was jumped by Cage and the rest of Team Taz before the match got underway.

Thankfully for Page, his friends in Dark Order came to his rescue and fought off Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Hook. However, Brian Cage took advantage of the chaos to hit a nasty powerbomb on Hangman on the stage. With Page severely debilitated Brian Cage was able to dispatch the former AEW Tag Team Champion in a little over five minutes.

Hangman Adam Page and Brian Cage Join A Stacked Double Or Nothing Card

On this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page was backstage flanked by Dark Order when he issued a challenge to Brian Cage. Telling Cage to leave Team Taz and the sneak attacks behind, Page told Brian Cage that for him a return match between the two men would be ‘double or nothing.’

Later in the show, the match was confirmed and added to what is shaping up to be a stacked card for AEW’s next pay-per-view. Kenny Omega will defend his AEW World Title in the first 3-Way match for the championship in company history. He will defend the belt against Orange Cassidy and Pac fought to a double count-out.

Cody Rhodes challenged Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo to a match following Ogogo’s attack on Rhodes. In a typically impassioned interview on Dynamite, Rhodes says one for one night only Ogogo won’t be facing The American Nightmare, he’ll be squaring off against The American Dream.

Hikaru Shida will make her ninth defence of the AEW Women’s Championship against Dr Britt Baker DMD. By the time Double Or Nothing comes around, Shida will have held the title for over one year. The Japanese star won the title at 2020’s Double Or Nothing from Nyla Rose.

The Casino Battle Royale is also confirmed to be making a return to Double Or Nothing. Both Christian Cage and Matt Sydal announced their intentions to enter and win the match, giving them an AEW Title shot in the future.
