Hall Of Famer Jesse Ventura Makes Shocking Return To WWE Before SummerSlam

Jesse Ventura and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon

The final RAW before SummerSlam witnessed Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura make his return.

The professional wrestler, actor, and politician was welcomed with open arms by Triple H during the final RAW episode before SummerSlam. A 2004 Hall of Fame inductee, Ventura has returned on RAW tonight.

Sharing the clip on X (Twitter), Triple H received Ventura in the parking lot with a warm hug. The social media post read:

Welcome home, Jesse Ventura. Honored to have one of the all-time greats back to WWE Raw tonight.”

In the 1980s, Ventura was one of the most popular commentators in the promotion but tension between him and the promotion saw Ventura join WCW in 1992. However, the former governor of Minnesota later made several returns to the Stamford-based promotion.

After months of negotiations, the former commentator has finally returned to the promotion. His return tonight was met with cheers in the arena as he remains one of the most popular names in the industry.

Jesse Ventura Responsible For A Wrestler’s Union In The Past

One of the prime reasons behind Jesse Ventura’s sour relationship with the promotion was his idea of introducing a wrestler’s union. His confrontation with Vince McMahon led to the inception of the union’s idea.

Ventura was convinced that a wrestler’s union meant a less jeopardized career for the talents. However, things did not go his way, as key figures like Hulk Hogan moved away from the plans.

In other news: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have successfully made a wrestling legend proud.

Meeting CM Punk at Raw, the WWE star looked back on the meeting with Ventura.
