WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan has rung the most important bell of his life as he celebrates finishing treatment for cancer.
In October 2021, Jim Duggan underwent prostate surgery in an effort to combat his recent cancer diagnosis. It initially appeared that surgery was successful as Duggan announced that he was cancer free that December.
However, in May 2022, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he was set to undergo more treatment as the cancer had unfortunately returned in his prostate.
Now Hacksaw Jim Duggan has taken to social media just three months later to announce the end of his radiation treatment for prostate cancer by ringing a special bell.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan began his wrestling career in 1979 after a brief stint with the Atlanta Falcons NFL franchise. After appearing in Mid-South Wrestling for much of the 1980s, Duggan arrived in the WWF in 1987. Here Duggan enjoyed a great run of success appearing at the first-ever Survivor Series and winning the first Royal Rumble Match.
The veteran moved to WCW in 1994 where he went on to win the United States and World Television Championships. Duggan returned to WWE in 2005 enjoying short feuds with the likes of Eugene and Cody Rhodes.
