Gunther Sent Through A Table Ahead Of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Match With Goldberg

Gunther was terrified after Goldberg confrontation on WWE RAW

WWE SmackDown ended in Paul Heyman unintentionally instigating a war between Solo Sikoa & his MFT and Seth Rollins’ faction.

After the show went off air, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso made an appearance. A clip shared by a fan shows Jey Uso spearing Gunther through a table as Cody Rhodes cheers him on. This is not the first time Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have made an appearance or a save after the blue brand went off air. Last week, the duo made a save for Jacob Fatu, attacked at the hands of Solo Sikoa, Tala Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo.

Meanwhile, Gunther will face WWE legend Goldberg in a blockbuster match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12. The World Heavyweight Champion came face-to-face with Goldberg this week on RAW, and the latter was done playing games, which seemed to intimidate The Ring General.

Gunther and Jey Uso share quite a history, given how the latter made The Ring General tap at WrestleMania 41 to win his first World Championship in WWE.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed took over WWE SmackDown

Seth Rollins’ feud with LA Knight sparked from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed costing the SmackDown star multiple opportunities. They prevented The Megastar from winning Money in the Bank by getting involved, attacking all participants to clear the way for The Visionary to win.

Since then, a back-and-forth between RAW and SmackDown ensued, with both parties sabotaging attacks and ambushes. This week on the final SmackDown before Saturday Night’s Main Event, LA Knight teamed up with Jimmy Uso to face Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo. Paul Heyman was ringside and appeared to call someone on his phone before Breakker and Reed entered the ring to spear and hit Knight with a tsunami consecutively.

Solo Sikoa, Tala Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo did not seem pleased with the interference. Especially when Heyman’s presence caused a distraction for the United States Champion, resulting in him being pinned.
