Current Intercontinental Champion Gunther has proven himself dominant inside the ring, and the star also recently celebrated an important milestone in his life.
The former WALTER has been involved in a relationship with former NXT UK star Jinny Couture for a number of years, and the two tied the knot over the weekend. Gunther took to social media to share an image of the happy couple on their big day, tagging their location at the Four Seasons Hotel in London, England.
Prior to signing with WWE, Jinny Couture had a successful run on the British independent wrestling scene. Couture would wrestle for Progress and Rev Pro, becoming the women’s champion in both of these promotions.
Jinny would be introduced to the WWE Universe in 2018, taking part in the Mae Young Classic tournament. The future NXT UK star would be eliminated in the first round by eventual winner Toni Storm. Following the conclusion of the tournament, Jinny would be announced as a member of the British brand’s roster.
Couture’s last match in the company would take place in November 2021. Jinny would win her final match while signed to the promotion, defeating Amale via pinfall.
In January of 2023, Jinny announced her retirement from in-ring competition due to injury.
