A new photo has emerged on social media, displaying the absurd shape WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther has gotten himself into.
Gunther, the former WALTER, has always been an intimidating performer. Being a walking embodiment of the term ‘built like a brick house’, Gunther was a solid behemoth, unwilling to move after the slightest nudge.
Since joining WWE, however, ‘The Ring General’ has considerably toned down, now adorning a ripped, jacked look as opposed to his more rugged ‘dad bod’. He’s since posted to social media a photo of this new look, showcasing the immaculate work he’s put in at the gym:

Fightful Select had previously noted how Gunther had impressed many WWE officials with his commitment to getting into shape and relocating to the United States. This came just hours before he dethroned Ricochet to lift the Intercontinental Championship.
WALTER officially signed with WWE following his appearance at the inaugural NXT UK TakeOver, confronting Pete Dunne, who was then the United Kingdom Champion. The ex-Imperium man would lift the title from ‘The Bruiserweight’ just three months later, embarking on an 870-day reign.
Prior to joining WWE, he was one of the top stars of the European independent circuit. Holding the top championships in PROGRESS Wrestling, OTT, and wXw, the 2010 16 Carat Gold winner was voted the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Europe MVP between 2018 and 2020.
