Grayson Waller Issues Statement After Top WWE Tag Team Heartbreakingly Breaks Up

Grayson Waller WWE statement

The latest episode of WWE RAW was an eventful one for Grayson Waller. The star issued a statement after a top tag team broke up on the show.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, collectively known as A-Town Down Under, have been a tag team for about three years now. The duo won tag team gold at WrestleMania 40 in a historic triumph. However, things were not looking good for the duo lately with a dissension forming between them.

Both Waller and Theory have teased breaking up for a while now, and it was speculated that they did so quietly on last week’s episode of WWE RAW. Now it has been made official with Grayson Waller stating that Austin Theory was injured and that the Australian star was moving on without Theory. Waller then tried to align himself with The New Day. Now, the 35-year-old has issued a statement after breaking up with his long-time tag team partner.

Grayson Waller says he saved Austin Theory in WWE

In a video uploaded to his X/Twitter handle, Waller fired some brutal shots at Austin Theory, stating that the latter got all the opportunities because of him and that he was responsible for Theory’s success and the subsequent success of their tag team.

“I just want to send out a quick message to all five of Austin Theory’s fans. I know tonight must have been heard finding out that he was A-Town down and out injured, but I just want to remind you this isn’t a time for commiserations, this is a time for celebrations. We should be celebrating the fact that Big G, Grayson Waller, saved Austin Theory’s career. Imagine where he would be without Grayson Waller. I saved him. I gave him another WrestleMania moment. I gave him the WWE tag team championships. Week in and week out, he got to perform against the best in the world because of me. I wasted two years of my career making you relevant.”

It remains to be seen when Austin Theory will return to WWE and what the future holds for him.
