In June, WWE and the LVCVA announced that WrestleMania would return to the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World following a record-breaking WrestleMania 41 in April 2025 at Allegiant Stadium. WrestleMania 42 will mark the third time Las Vegas has hosted WWE’s biggest event of the year (2026, 2025 and 1993).”
WrestleMania 42 is scheduled at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026.
Cody Rhodes Addresses WWE WrestleMania 41 Criticism
Earlier this year, Cody Rhodes and John Cena clashed in the main event of WrestleMania 41, which attracted severe criticism from critics and fans alike.
However, later, while speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rhodes addressed the fallout and claimed:
SummerSlam, I don’t wanna go as far as making any promises, but I can tell you the goal with SummerSlam is if people felt a certain way about WrestleMania [41], I will put that all on my back and take all the credit and responsibility for perhaps not feeling satisfied. I’d like to get ‘em to the finish line with SummerSlam. Very much looking forward to doing this dance again.”
He later defeated Cena at SummerSlam 2025 to win his second Undisputed WWE Title.
