Amidst his run as a heel in AEW, there seems to be good news for AEW star Cash Wheeler.
Cash Wheeler is one of the foremost personalities around the world when it comes to tag team wrestling. Alongside his FTR teammate, Dax Harwood, Wheeler has emerged as a top talent, not just in AEW, but also in WWE a few years ago. However, the two-time AEW Tag Team Champion was embroiled in some controversy in 2023. He was accused of flashing a gun at someone and was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in August 2023. The case was ultimately dropped in May 2024.
There now seems to be good news for Wheeler. According to PWInsider, the star’s 2023 arrest record has now been expunged. It has been revealed that Florida courts wiped the star’s records clean in filings on May 5, 2025, about a year after the case was dropped.
Cash Wheeler's legal record has been completely expunged of his 2023 arrest as of May 2025. An official ruling wiping Wheeler's legal record clean was officially filed by Florida courts on 5/5.

AEW star Cash Wheeler reportedly received backstage sympathy over the matter
The AEW star seemingly received a lot of sympathy backstage from other talent. The locker room was of the opinion that a lot of Cash Wheeler’s time and money were wasted in defense of an act that the majority believed he had not committed.
The star can now rest easy after the matter is finally over and the records have been wiped clean.
Wheeler is currently a heel in All Elite Wrestling alongside Dax Harwood. FTR has also employed Stokely Hathaway as their manager.
