Goldberg is heading to Monday Night Raw and night two of the 2021 WWE Draft.
WWE have announced that the Hall of Famer will be in Nashville, Tennessee on October 4th for a showdown with Bobby Lashley. Goldberg hasn’t appeared in-person on WWE television since being defeated by Lashley at SummerSlam.
On the night the referee called a halt to the contest with Goldberg nursing an injury to his knee. After the bell, Goldberg’s son Gage ran to the ring and straight to Lashley who quickly wrapped him up in the Hurt Lock.
Speaking in the days after the clash, Goldberg made no secret of his desire to return for revenge, saying that he would be coming for “Lashley’s soul.”
On the most recent episode of the red brand the former Universal Champion appeared via satellite threatening to “kill” his rival.
“The next stop for Goldberg is Monday Night Raw.
Last week, The WWE Hall of Famer sent a very loud and clear message to Bobby Lashley from his home, but this time, Goldberg will be in the building for the first time since their WWE Championship showdown at SummerSlam.
It’s safe to assume Goldberg will be looking for The All Mighty from the moment he arrives, still eager to get retribution after what unfolded between Lashley and Gage Goldberg during the SummerSlam bout.”
The big story heading into Raw is undoubtedly the second night of the 2021 Draft.
During night one on SmackDown, the status-quo was shaken up right from the outset with the news that Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair would be heading to the blue brand.
Meanwhile Big E will now feature permanently on Raw alongside Edge who is also on the move. Drew McIntyre and The New Day will be heading in the opposite direction. The other big mover on the night was Bianca Belair who will now be plying her trade on Raw.
The new rosters will come into effect after WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st.
