Goldberg Reveals How Many Matches He Has Left On WWE Deal

Bill Goldberg

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has discussed how many matches he has left on his current WWE deal as he says his days in the ring are not over.

Goldberg made his name in WCW racking up an undefeated streak like no other on the way to becoming WCW World Champion. Following the demise of the promotion, the star waited until 2003 before trying his hand in WWE, where again he became World Heavyweight Champion, but his run in the company petered out in an infamous match at WrestleMania 20 against Brock Lesnar and lasted only one year.

Few could have imagined then that Goldberg would make his WWE comeback 12 years later and again set his sights on The Beast Incarnate. At Survivor Series 2016 the two men clashed again with Lesnar being destroyed in little over a minute by his opponent much to the shock of everyone watching.

Since then Goldberg has captured the Universal Championship and last competed at the Elimination Chamber in early 2022 challenging Roman Reigns for that very title in Saudi Arabia.

Now speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Goldberg revealed how many matches he had left to compete in according to his current WWE deal:

“Well, I don’t have any matches left on my contract, but I know one way we could take care of him. I do need to give him a little receipt for that little choke-out in Saudi Arabia.”

The 55-year-old later added that despite his current deal not requiring him to compete again, he is far from done with wrestling:

“It’s been a long road, no question about it. To the fans, you mean everything to me. The young ones, the old ones, the in-between ones, the guys, the girls, the blacks, the green, I don’t care who you are. I couldn’t be who I am without you. I will be forever grateful for the rest of my days.”

“My days aren’t done yet. My days may be numbered, but my days are not over with yet. I’ve got a monstrous garage and gym being built that will be done in about a month, and if you think I’m not gonna be living in there the rest of my life, preparing for what’s next, you’re crazy.”
