“Give Em Hell” – Naomi Drops Fiery Reaction To AJ Lee’s WWE Return On SmackDown

AJ Lee Naomi

Naomi made jaws drop with her blazing reaction after AJ Lee’s WWE return on the September 5 episode of SmackDown.

The signs have been pointing towards one thing, but today everything aligned perfectly. The greatest Divas champion, Lee, returned to the promotion after 3800 days during the main event of this week’s SmackDown. As Lynch slapped Punk multiple times, Lee stepped in to even things up.

There is a huge buzz on social media, with ‘Welcome Back AJ Lee’ trending on X and everyone excited, fans and wrestlers alike. Amongst these was Naomi, who couldn’t hold her excitement after seeing Lee return. She took to X, writing,

“Caffeine perks you up… but me, I’m some natural dynamite baby.” @TheAJMendez welcome back my lil Dynamite give em hell🧨 #smackdown

These remarks from Naomi match the energy from her previous take on Lee’s return. Just a couple of days ago, when the rumors peaked, she wrote on X:

If she returns while I’m out yall will witness the crash out of the century on this app”(H/T: @TheTrinity_Fatu)

Naomi is out of in-ring action due to her pregnancy. She and her husband, Jimmy Uso, are expecting their first child together, and as a result, she had to relinquish her Women’s World Heavyweight Championship on Monday Night RAW.

Naomi’s Connection with AJ Lee on WWE

Naomi and Lee have been rivals for most of their careers, clashing in numerous matches. Their feud includes memorable matches such as the FCW Divas Championship match, where Lee defeated Naomi for the title. They also clashed on WWE TV, including the Lumber Jill match on RAW in 2014.

Nearing the end of Lee’s initial run in the company, Naomi teamed up with her on the March 30, 2015, episode of WWE RAW, along with Paige, to defeat Natalya and The Bella Twins. This was also the last match of Lee in WWE. Her first match following her return is most likely to be at WrestlePalooza on September 20. Reports suggest that a mixed tag-team match between Punk-Lee and Rollins-Lynch will be announced soon.
