Two of Stardom’s most heated rivals have agreed to a Hair vs Hair match for the upcoming All Star Dream Cinderella show at the Nippon Budokan.
Giulia, of the Donna Del Mundo (DDM) stable, and Tam Nakano, of the Cosmic Angels, have been frequent opponents over the past twelve months, with the DDM front woman having claimed the vacant Wonder of Stardom title against Tam back in July, 2020.
Friction between the pair seemingly escalated over the weekend when Giulia defeated Nakano’s fellow Cosmic Angel Unagi Sakaya, only to follow up with a scathing personal attack on her fallen opponent.
The following night, the Cosmic Angels achieved a degree of revenge in defeating DDM in a tag team match, with Tam pinning the stable’s latest recruit Natsupoi with a Tiger Suplex.
After the match, Nakano issued a challenge to Giulia, which was quickly countered with the condition of a Hair vs Hair – with Giulia having calculated this to be off-putting to Nakano, given her background as an Idol in Japan.
Surprisingly, Tam accepted, with the match set for the March 3rd show at the Budokan, provided Giulia still has the Wonder of Stardom title in her possession.
This is something of a question mark given the DDM star’s upcoming title defense against the surging Starlight Kid.
Stardom’s All Star Dream Cinderella show is already filled with blockbuster encounters including two inter-promotional contests with SEAdLINNNG as well as a prospective clash between Queen’s Quest stablemates Saya Kamitani and World of Stardom champion Utami Hayashishita.
