The main event of Stardom’s Yokohama Dream Cinderella show saw an intra-faction title change with Giulia and Syuri taking the Goddess of Stardom (Tag) Championships from stablemates Maika and Himeka.
The belts have proven tricky to keep hold of in recent months, with Giulia and Syuri now the third team to hold the belts since the beginning of 2021.
The win marks both wrestlers’ third respective runs with the belts and makes Syuri a double champion, as she also holds the SWA World Championship.
The Donna del Mundo quartet naturally remained cordial post-match, with its membership having already wrestled each other on several occasions recently.
Elsewhere on the card, the current World of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita retained over Bea Priestley.
Post-match, Priestley was uncharacteristically complimentary of the champion while also making amends with former stablemate Momo Watanabe before announcing her departure from the company.
In the Oedo Tai/STARS stable vs stable elimination match, where the final wrestler to lose would be forced to switch allegiances, Gokien Death took the final fall and was ultimately forced into the Oedo Tai collective.
Stable leader Natsuko Tora wasted little time renaming her newest recruit, re-branding her as Fukigen Death.
