Gillberg Appears On RAW Two Months After Suffering Heart Attack

The iconic Gillberg returned to WWE RAW tonight – just two months after being hospitalised after being in intensive care after suffering a heart attack.

At the beginning of RAW, Goldberg was advertised as a guest on The Dirt Sheet with Miz and Morrison, only for the former Light Heavyweight Champion to take the Hall of Famer’s place. Meanwhile, a Drew McIntyre stand-in (who viewers may recognise as actor David Krumholtz) would also make his way to the ring as Miz established that, as far as the WWE Championship goes, he’s next.

Back in November, Gillberg – real name Duane Gill – suffered a heart attack which put him in intensive care.

James Ellsworth would take to Twitter to explain Gill had suffered a heart attack and give fans an update on his health:

“I just got off the phone with Duane Gill[’s wife], also known as Gillberg. She wanted me to let everybody know what’s going on with Duane. He had a heart attack yesterday but he is doing okay, he’s doing good. He just got out of ICU, doing very well, so I just wanted to say that first and foremost. He is doing fine and he should be okay going forward.”

Everyone at Inside The Ropes wishes Gillberg well, and hopefully Duane Gills appearance on RAW means his health troubles are behind him.
