An unfortunate update has been revealed about the status of Alexa Bliss.
Bliss is the one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with her unexpected partner, Charlotte Flair. They are massively popular due to the unusual nature of their alliance, as they are not really friends but decided to ally with each other out of convenience.
During this week’s episode of SmackDown, Flair faced Piper Niven of Chelsea Green’s The Green Regime. While Green and Alba Fyre were in Niven’s corner, Bliss was noticeably nowhere to be seen on The Queen’s side, creating confusion among fans.
It was then disclosed by color commentator Wade Barrett that Little Miss Bliss was not medically cleared to appear on this edition of Friday Nights, which emanated from Dublin, Ireland.
In the end, Niven scored an upset victory over Flair with a Michinoku Driver, thanks to the distraction from her teammates.

Alexa Bliss’s absence might have stemmed from last week’s episode of SmackDown (August 15th) in Boston, Massachusetts, when she outsmarted Niven in a singles match. Afterward, The Green Regime took out the tag team champions.
To finish the assault on Little Miss Bliss, Fyre hit her with a Gory Bomb, and Niven topped it off with a Viper Bomb. This is indeed unfortunate news on Alexa Bliss, and we would like to wish her to get well soon.
A potential tag title match could happen between Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair versus The Green Regime
For two weeks in a row on SmackDown, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and The Green Regime (Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre) have been at each other’s throats.
With both teams scoring one victory each, the amped-up rivalry could potentially come to blows at Clash in Paris by possibly having a tag-team title match.

If it happens, The Green Regime will have an opportunity to dethrone Flair and Bliss after Niven shockingly beat Flair. However, Little Miss Bliss was not seen on SmackDown, so it will be interesting to see if the tag team titles are going to be contested on August 31.
