Since Triple H assumed creative control of WWE a number of former Superstars have made their way back to the company. While some have been more surprising than others, Gerald Brisco might have accidentally revealed who is next on the list.
Arguably the Superstar who has made the biggest splash since returning is Bray Wyatt. The former World Champion was one of the most popular stars in the company when he was released in July 2021, so his comeback was greeted with much excitement. In typical Bray Wyatt fashion, his story since returning has kept fans guessing, and even three months on his creative direction remains unclear.
One often speculated avenue for the star is the heading up of a new faction dubbed the “Wyatt 6.” There has also been the introduction of the mysterious Uncle Howdy character who attacked Wyatt on the December 30th episode of SmackDown. Both of these new scenarios could potentially see the returns of at least one former Superstar. One of the names suggested by fans in both instances if that of Wyatt’s real-life brother Bo Dallas.
Has Gerald Brisco Confirmed WWE Return Of Bo Dallas?
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, Gerald Brisco confirmed that he was backstage at the recent SmackDown taping. It had previously been noted that the veteran was there with Ric Flair. During the conversation, Brisco said that he was joking with Wyatt and a visiting Bo Dallas backstage as he has known them both since they were children.
This joking around seemingly involves the trio attacking each other. In retelling the story, Brisco said that they were then approached by Triple H who commented about him trying to hurt his “Superstars.” While this could be Brisco paraphrasing, or simply a slip of the tongue from The Game, there is also the possibility that Dallas is back with the company.
Brisco noted that Dallas was visiting his brother before heading out of town.
“Both Bo and Bray, we have a thing going,” Brisco explained. “I’ve known those guys since they were pooping in their diapers, every time I see them either they attack me or I attack them. It’s whoever sees the other first.”
“The guy with three letters [Paul “Triple H” Levesque] in his name came up and said ‘why are you trying to hurt my superstars?'”
It was reported back in November that Bray Wyatt was advocating for the returns of both Erick Rowan and Bo Dallas. The latter hasn’t wrestled since appearing at a WWE live event in November 2019. The star was released by the company in April 2021.
