“Genghis Khan, Screw Him, He Never Had Sprite” – Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson has ignited a new and unexpected feud with Genghis Khan, the 13th-century warrior whom founded and ruled the Mongol Empire from 1206-1227.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Bryan Danielson is no stranger to a bizarre quote or two, last year he infamously described apples as ‘tree semen’. Speaking on The Barstool Yak about his vegan diet, the former Daniel Bryan said:

“When I eat an apple, the tree doesn’t die. Essentially, I’m eating the tree’s sperm. I’m eating the sperm. It’s tree semen. That’s how they reproduce other trees. Most fruits are semen.”

And now the American Dragon has taken an outlandish swipe at one of the most powerful men in the history of the World in Genghis Khan.

“I’m Way Richer Than Genghis Khan Ever Was” – Bryan Danielson

After conquering much of Central Asia, Genghis Khan established the largest land empire in history, but that isn’t enough to impress one Bryan Danielson.

The Blackpool Combat Club member was a guest on Ron Funches’ ‘One Fall’ podcast when he took aim at the Mongolian Emperor.

Funches was explaining how his friend appreciates little things in life, such as the taste of Sprite, when Danielson began his wacky rant:

“One of the things that I like to remind my friends, all the time, is that — Sprite is a perfect example — Genghis Khan took over most of his known world at the time. He never had Sprite. I’m way richer than Genghis Khan ever was. If he wanted to eat something delicious, it took a long time, and I’m sure he had someone else cook it for it him. I don’t eat McDonald’s, but I’m sure I can go into McDonald’s and get something better than he ever ate in his entire life, and that man ruled the world. Genghis Khan, screw him, he never had Sprite,”

Back in his usual role as a professional wrestler, Danielson most recently competed in a four-way match for the ROH World Championship against Sammy Guevara, Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Jericho at AEW Full Gear, where Jericho successfully defended his championship.
