Gable Steveson made his mark on WrestleMania 38, clashing with Chad Gable!
Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson finally got physical in a WWE ring and not only that, he did it on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
After a suitably chaotic Raw Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match which saw RK-Bro defeat The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, the champions wanted to toast their success. The Street Profits returned to the ring, cups in hand, getting ready to celebrate.
However, the men in the ring noticed Gable Steveson seated at ringside and invited him to join them. As Steveson received his cup, Chad Gable ran into the ring, upset at the presence of the young star. Gable launched the cup from Steveson’s hand which naturally didn’t go down well amateur wrestling star.
Gable shushed Steveson, before the rookie launched the former Raw Tag Team Champion across the ring with a overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
The altercation came after RK-Bro retained their Raw Tag Team Championships after Randy Orton delivered an RKO to Chad Gable as he leaped himself from the top rope.

After winning Olympic Gold in Tokyo, Steveson became one of the most sought-after combat athletes in the world. With Steveson already an NCAA Champion, Danny Hodge Trophy winner, and Junior World Champion, his resume attracted a sting of suiters.
Gable Steveson chose however to sign with WWE and became the first athlete to sign a NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) contract when he signed with the company in September 2021.
Steveson was a part of the WWE Draft just one month later where he was sent to Monday Night Raw with the red brand’s final pick. The Indiana-native recently won his second NCAA Division 1 wrestling championship.
