After two of his teammates confirmed their AEW exits, one Dark Order member comments on the future of the group.
One of AEW’s most long-standing factions, the Dark Order came into being when Stu Grayson and Evil Uno commanded a number of faceless wrestlers to do their bidding. In time, they recruited John Silver and Alex Reynolds, and the group took on a new life when Brodie Lee was revealed to be their leader in March of 2020.
The group has evolved from a dark cult into a beloved group of characters, though it seems that they’re undergoing more changes as some of its members are leaving AEW due to their contracts not being renewed.
Original member Stu Grayson was the first to confirm his AEW exit, revealing that his contract expired on April 30th. He wished his fellow Dark Order members luck and said he can’t wait to see what the group has in store for them.
Now, Alan “V” Angels is the second Dark Order member to confirm that his AEW contract has expired and that he wouldn’t be signing a per-appearance deal. In a statement on social media, he expressed gratitude for his time in the company and said that he’s looking forward to exciting career opportunities.
With some of the group members departing, there’s been speculation about the future of the group, but original member Evil Uno took to social media to make it clear that the Dark Order is still very much a part of AEW, stating:
“Dark Order is not dead.”
Dark Order is not dead.

Evil Uno recently spoke about the group’s presentation in AEW and how the members have evolved as characters over time.
