Former WWE star Karrion Kross has made his post-company plans clear.
After his contract with WWE ended on August 10, 2025, he started booking appearances on the independent circuit. The two-time NXT Champion’s departure from the company came after an unsuccessful contract negotiation where he was given just 24 hours to accept a new deal before WWE pulled the offer completely.
House of Glory Wrestling has made a big announcement about Karrion Kross. The promotion confirmed that Kross will make his debut at their “With Glory Comes Pride” event on Friday, October 10, at Amazura in Queens, New York. This marks his first major independent wrestling appearance since leaving WWE.
The show will stream live on TrillerTV+ for fans who cannot attend in person. HOG Wrestling called Kross “the hottest free agent in the industry” in their official announcement. They also warned the entire locker room that “nobody is safe” once Kross arrives. The promotion has not announced who Kross will face in his debut match yet.

This House of Glory booking comes after Kross already lined up other independent dates. He is set to wrestle for WrestlePro on September 21 in Rahway, New Jersey, where he will face Richard Holliday. He also has a match booked with Defy Wrestling on September 19 in Seattle, Washington.
Kross is using his old ring name “Killer Kross” for these independent shows, which he used before joining the company. He and Scarlett are also doing meet-and-greet events at conventions around the country. Their first non-wrestling appearance is scheduled for The Big Event EXS in New York on November 15.
Karrion Kross’s WWE Release
Kross confirmed in interviews that he is now a free agent and wants to keep working in wrestling. He and his wife, Scarlett, both left the company at the same time. Their contracts were not renewed after months of talks that went nowhere. WWE moved both wrestlers to the alumni section of their website, making their exit official.
The wrestling world has mixed feelings about whether Kross really left WWE. Some people think this might be a fake storyline because they have done similar things before with other wrestlers. However, Kross has been clear that his departure is real and not part of any TV story.
Following his release, there were ‘We Want Kross’ chants in the arena. Kross responded to these chants with a three-word message, check that here.
Reports show that Kross is charging very high fees for independent wrestling shows. Despite the high costs, promotions are still trying to book him because he remains one of the most popular free agents available.
