More details have been reported regarding the previous issue between WWE stars Jade Cargill and Shayna Baszler.
As originally reported on March 7th by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a previous altercation arose where Shayna Baszler wanted to fight Jade Cargill until the situation was calmed down by management. A further report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select noted that the issue arose from their match at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow and that Cargill had also said to Baszler words to the effect of “learn how to work.”
Following the 2 reports being published, many pointed to the spot in the Clash at the Castle match that saw Cargill seemingly tap out to Baszler, which was not the finish of the match.
Providing more information in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer noted that the tap-out spot was planned and was supposed to be followed up on but was dropped without reason. In regard to the “learn to work line”, Meltzer adds that this was said backstage with Baszler responding with words to the effect of Cargill would know if she went off script:
“The heat was the claim by other women that when there were problems in the ring, she’d blame the other person and was disrespectful. One incident described by Sean Ross Sapp was Cargill, after the issues, saying that Baszler didn’t know how to work, which obviously didn’t endear her to anyone. The specific confrontation was Cargill pointing to a bruise on her arm and her telling Baszler that she needed to learn how to work and Baszler responding that if she was shooting that you and I would both know.”

Continuing the report, Meltzer adds that Cargill blamed others for the issues in the matches, resulting in the confrontation between the two WWE stars:
“Then later, when Cargill blamed others for problems in matches, Baszler came up to her and confronted her. This was not a one person deal but Baszler did go to talk to her about it and that didn’t make it better and she got in Baszler’s face according to one person right there and said Baszler clearly wasn’t going to back down. Other talent saw it and they and management diffused it and got them away from each other and Baszler was called to work with the production people on the key spots they were doing in her television match that night. Nothing else happened of significance after that.”
