The full line-up to crown the first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion has been revealed.
Following the announcement on SmackDown that a Women’s United States Championship will be introduced following the conclusion of a tournament at Saturday Night’s Main Event, a Women’s Intercontinental Champion is also set to be introduced on Raw. The 4 winners of their respective triple threat matches will advance to the semi finals and the winners of those matches will meet in the final at a date to be determined.
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship rounds out a trifecta of new championships being introduced on all 3 brands as NXT also introduced a Women’s North American Championship earlier in the year, which saw Kelani Jordan crowned as the first ever champion. Jordan lost the title to Fallon Henley at Halloween Havoc.
More Matches Announced For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
