AEW President Tony Khan announced that he had purchased Ring of Honor back in March 2022. In the months that followed, the company held two pay-per-views as well as aired a show in tribute to the late Jay Briscoe.
On February 25th, ROH held a bumper set of TV tapings at Universal Studios, Orlando Florida for their relaunched weekly show which is set to begin airing on the Honor Club streaming service from March 2nd.
The tapings featured several huge matches including the Claudio Castagnoli putting the ROH World Championship he recently recaptured from Chris Jericho on the line, and the Pure Champion, Wheeler Yuta, issuing an open challenge for his title.

After the match, Eddie Kingston confronted Castagnoli and made it clear he wants to challenge for the ROH World Championship.
- ROH Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) def. Tony Deppen
Following his victory, Samoa Joe issued an open challenge which was answered by Mark Briscoe.

Daivari spoke about his victory over Mascara Dorada earlier in the night, leading to the star coming out to confront him. However, Slim J and Ari attacked him before Blake Christian made the save with a chair.
- ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta (c) def. Timothy Thatcher. Christopher Daniels, BJ Whitmer, and Colt Cabana served as the judges.
After his successful defence, Yuta called out NJPW’s LA Dojo, and Clark Connors confronted him.

- Eddie Kingston def. Jon Cruz
Eddie Kingston cut a promo after the match, demanding a shot at Claudio Castagnoli and the ROH World Championship. Castagnoli told him that “A man without honor will never be ROH Champion.”
