As WrestleMania 39 prepares to go Hollywood, a new report has revealed which movies will get a special WWE twist.
The last time The Showcase Of The Immortals took over in Los Angels, CA was in 2005. The 21st edition of the annual spectacular is fondly remembered for the parody movie trailers released in the run-up to the event.
That year saw Triple H donning face paint to give his take on William Wallace and Braveheart. Meanwhile, his opponent for the show featured in a send-up of Taxi Driver that saw him forget his lines.
Another trailer featured Booker T and Eddie Guerrero channelling Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, while John Cena and JBL re-enacted the iconic courtroom scene from A Few Good Men.
Parody trailers for WrestleMania 39 revealed
Now, WrestleVotes has reported that the current generation of Superstars will create a whole new set of movie parodies.
Rhea Ripley is set to star in Stranger Things alongside her beloved Dom Dom and the rest of The Judgment Day, while Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins will become Batman and The Joker – a role that seems ideal for The Visionary.
In another case of perfect casting, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline are reportedly going to pay homage to the classic gangster movie, Goodfellas.

WrestleMania 39 takes place across two nights on April 1st and 2nd. The show will be headlined by Cody Rhodes taking on the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, whether that be Roman Reigns or his Elimination Chamber challenger, Sami Zayn.
The winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Rhea Ripley, has also announced that she will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in an attempt to avenge her loss to The Queen back in 2020.
